The Wrong Missy

    Whether making friends or seeking a girlfriend and a boyfriend by an online dating website is a good idea or not, ones always need to be careful. You never know what kind of blunder you are going to make. The situation could be like this, what if you text a wrong girl or boy, would you fall in love with her or him? 

    No one can make the biggest blunder except Tim. He was an asset in the company that was about to merge with another corporation. The new boss held an orientation mandatory mixer at a beautiful beach and everyone could bring one’s spouse or partner. With one of his colleagues encouraging, Tim thought he could invite a fantastic girl who he just met at the airport for a retreat. They liked reading the same book, had the same thoughts, and laughed the same jokes as well. Unfortunately, they had the same situations, which both of their partners had an affair outside. The spark of their mind was lit up instantly. Eventually, he decided to pluck up his courage to text this perfect girl.

    Mamma mia! There was nothing worse than texting the wrong girl, which this horrible girl and the perfect girl had the same name. Tim had a blind date with this wrong girl three months ago, who always spoke loudly and always made the situation worse as well as she had a boy’s behavior. This wrong girl, who everyone called her Missy, said "YES", and would meet him at the airport for this wonderful holiday. When Tim saw her at the airport, it was too late to change anything. This was their destiny.

    We always have the first impression when you see a person. You might tell yourself that you like or you don't like her or him. However, can the first impression decide to make the right decision? Don’t judge by its cover. I think we still try to take some time to understand them first. Therefore, going somewhere for a holiday is often a wonderful idea for couples or those who date someone at the beginning. 

     With Tim's colleague bragging to his new boss how beautiful Tim’s girl was, the poor Tim did not want her to show up. He wanted her to stay at the hotel or go somewhere to stay cool, calm as a passer. However, Missy was not a cute doll. She carried a machete all the time. She started to give psychic readings to the entire company, danced on the stage crazily, and jumped off of a cliff. She also puked up directly over the shark cage that Tim was in to draw a shark to come when everybody was on the boat. The worse thing was that Missy meddled in the marriage of Tim's boss, which she didn't know who was the boss's wife. It led to a big argument between the boss and his wife.

     All things drove Tim crazy. However, do you think that Missy has no advantages? After her father passed away, she was kind of lonely. Therefore, she went to sign up for a bunch of stuff in different classes and became a jack-of-all-trades. She was a certified EMT when Tim hurt his ankle. She could pop the ankle back into place. She was a certified CPR when Tim's boss was drowned due to a shark. She also hypnotized Tim's boss to like Tim to let Tim be a president in the new corporation. She called herself, Doctor Missy. Hypnotist, Paramedic, Therapist, Psychic.  

     Tim found out Missy's advantages slowly and what’s more, he still started to like her. One of his colleagues was upset because she didn’t think Tim could be a president. She decided to tell Missy that she was not a girl who Tim wanted to text at the beginning and she was not supposed to be here. Unfortunately, Missy oversaw Tim's previous text sending to that fantastic girl who he met at the airport. Missy was sad and left. Shortly after, the fantastic girl came to retreat, which that jealous colleague who wanted to be a president called. Tim figured out everything went wrong.

    Sometimes we never know what kind of lover we exactly want or suit us. Can the lover guide us to be a perfect person? In addition to all the things I mentioned, have you ever had the feeling that the reflection from this person is just what you want to be?

     At the end of the movie, Tim wanted to find Missy and apologized to her, but Missy did not want to forgive him until they met in the restaurant. Tim said," I don't want to be the guy that's always serious. Or letting my boss' approval and just overshadow everything that should mean something in my life. I want to go out and to be free. I want to be unapologetic about who I am. The important thing is to be like you. I never meant for any of this to happen, but I am glad it did. It's only been a couple of weeks, but I don't like my life as much without you."

       This movie reminds me of a friend, who was my best friend in junior high. She is a very active girl, but I am a quieter girl. Our personality is totally different. She always looked into the mirror and asked herself why she was so beautiful, but I often answered how dare to say that to yourself. She liked playing a ball, but I always stood under the tree to wait for her. She always liked talking about boys and I only checked which one she mentioned. She could sing loudly while she was riding a scooter and I was in her back and said there were people looking at us. Don’t sing. I liked her crazy energy. Thanks to her, my school life in junior high had a great deal of fun and laughter.
