Pay attention: foreign teachers

Instructions!

1.  schedule form:

Before the 25th of the month, each teacher will have to fill up a form with their schedule of availability for the next month. Please make sure and stick to the date and time that you offered in the form. It would be preferred that we do not need to change the date and time during the month of the class. Therefore when you offer the time for the classes, please think about your traffic time or personal things.

2.  About absence:

If a teacher or students need to be absent from a class, the website will allow the class to be cancelled two days prior to the class. If a student cancels a class, the system will let myself and the teacher know about it through email. It is advised to check Junk mail folder in case of such emails. If such email land in the junk mail box, please white-list the email address so that it goes to normal inbox next time.

3.  Make sure about your class time:

 For the teachers, please check your schedule on the first day of the month. Since students will be able to rearrange their class, it is advised that you check your timings and class on a regular basis a few times in the week. Any change students make on their class will also send an email to the teacher, however it will be helpful if teachers check on the overall schedule once a week.

4.  Do not cancel the class on the same day:

Please try your best to meet your scheduled class timings because the class can not be re-scheduled on the same day. If for some urgent reason you can not meet the class, please cancel the class on your first instance.

5. Students' sick leave:

 If students get sick or can not attend the class, then the parents can cancel the class on the same day. The teacher and I will be informed by an email if this is the case. That is why, it is always important to make sure that our email address is white-listed on your email program.

6. Fill up a form:

 When teachers finish a class, please fill up a form that is on the website. The form will capture information on what book was taught, what pages you went up to etc. You can also mention if the student need to change the teacher due to current teacher’s availability or students’ availability. You may mention if you will be able to teach the student all months etc.

7. Bulletin Board folder 

There is a Bulletin Board folder where I typically post announcements. Since there can be too many things to remember, both of us can search for information there when needed.
